2017 Holden Trailblazer Special Edition Z71, on sale June

Holden has announced that it will do a run of  400 Trailblazer Special Edition Z71 models that will feature an array of styling enhancements. Much like the Holden Colorado Z71, the Trailblazer Z71 is based on the top-of-the-range Trailblazer LTZ and adds a long list of styling enhancements to give the car a muscled-up, sporty look.

Key exterior upgrades include 18-inch black alloy wheels, a selection of black design content, as well as Z71 livery. Step inside the Trailblazer Special Edition Z71 and you’ll find the heated front leather-appointed seats are upgraded with intricate Z71 head rest embroidery.

Other stand-out features of the Holden Trailblazer include an impressive three-tonne towing capacity, shift-on-the-fly 4WD, a rear view camera and Apple CarPlay/Android Auto supported infotainment system.

Holden’s Director – Communications, Sean Poppitt, said:

“The Trailblazer Z71 special edition adds stand-out styling to our adventure-ready, family-friendly 4×4 SUV, showing customers they really can have it all.

“With its impressive performance on and off roads as well as its connectivity and active safety technology, Trailblazer has already proved itself a well-equipped performer and now with new black wheels and black styling features it can do it all with an even greater presence on the roads.”

The 2017 Holden Trailblazer Special Edition Z71 will go on sale in June and will command a premium of $1,000 on top of the LTZ base price of $52,490 plus on-road costs. Z71 exterior colours will include Summit White, Absolute Red, Satin Steel Grey, and Mineral Black, with the latter two costing $550 for prestige paint.

All 2017 Holden Trailblazer models come with a 147kW/500Nm 2.8-litre four-cylinder turbo-diesel engine and a six-speed automatic transmission, as well as room for up to seven occupants.

– 18-inch painted alloy wheels (from Z71 pickup)
– Black Body Side Mouldings
– Black Belt Line Mouldings
– Black Mirrors
