Subaru records strong sales in April

Subaru Australia experienced record-breaking sales last month, moving a total of 3854 vehicles. This is a new April record for Subaru, according to official VFACTS figures.

The best seller for Subaru in April was the Forester with 1054 sales, while in the sports car market the BRZ found 62 new homes. Subaru was one of just four top 10 automotive brands showing growth last month, up 22.1% over April 2016.

The new generation All-Wheel Drive Impreza has also continued its charge in the small car class, with 1022 sales YTD.

Subaru Australia Managing Director, Colin Christie, said:

“Our range continues to resonate with buyers Australia-wide and it’s a trend that’s continued throughout the first third of 2017.

“Impreza growth is all the more impressive because of the first time customers it’s bringing to Subaru, particularly with the younger audience.

“With new generation XV already generating huge interest before first deliveries in June, we can see great potential for the second half of the year too.”
