Honda Australia adds CR-V and Jazz +Sport special edition models
Honda Australia has today introduced the 2018 Honda CR-V +Sport and 2018 Honda Jazz +Sport special editions. The Japanese carmaker says both models add extra features and sporty elements.
Starting with the CR-V +Sport you get additional safety and styling features valued at $4100 for a $1900 premium over the two-wheel drive VTI model – on which it is based. Standard features include keyless entry, Android Auto and Apple Carplay, and a three-mode reversing camera. The +Sport model adds 18-inch alloy wheels, lane watch, front and rear parking sensors, rear privacy glass, a black front grille, and a +Sport badge.
All Honda CR-V models come with a 1.5-litre turbo four-cylinder, producing 140kW and 240Nm. Fuel consumption for the two-wheel drive +Sport model is rated at 7.0L/100km for combined driving.
The Jazz +Sport receives $1600 worth of extra features for $600 on top of the price of a VTi-S. While the VTi-S already comes with satellite navigation, multi angle reversing camera, LED projector headlights, and remote keyless entry, the +Sport model adds 16-inch gloss black alloy wheels, gloss black rear licence plate garnish, rear parking sensors, and a +Sport badge.
Stephen Collins, director, Honda Australia, said:
“As a brand we will always have a lineup that is strong, excellent value-for-money and right for the Australian market, all built with the Honda DNA of world-class engineering, reliability and functionality. In between, where possible we add in limited edition models which have always been popular with our customers as they represent even better value for money for a limited time.”
Both models come with Honda’s five-year unlimited kilometre warranty and are available until sold out. Prices for each model are as follows (excluding on-road costs):
2018 Honda Jazz +Sport – $20,590
2018 Honda CR-V +Sport – $32,490
