Nissan introduces 370Z, Pathfinder, and X-TRAIL N-SPORT special editions

Nissan Australia is continuing the sales success of the Nissan Navara N-SPORT by following it up with a bunch of special edition models based on the X-TRAIL, Pathfinder, and 370Z.

Starting with the Nissan 370Z N-SPORT, the special edition coupe is based on the Datsun 280ZX Black Gold edition, which was designed to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Z way back in 1980.

The coupe features “GT-inspired exterior graphics” that start at the bonnet and stretch over the roof and boot lid, and across the base of the driver and passenger doors. In addition to this the 370Z N-SPORT wears black 18-inch alloy wheels, and black gloss side mirrors.

The interior has been treated with yellow accents on the door trim, steering wheel, shift knob, knee pads, and dash. Bespoke black cloth seats with yellow embroidery finish off the look. Just 50 370Z N-SPORTs will be available, and will come in Chicane Yellow, Diamond Black, and Shiro White hues.

The X-TRAIL N-SPORT, which is based on the five-seat Nissan X-TRAIL ST-L (in two-wheel drive and four-wheel drive), gets the “black treatment” with features such as 18-inch black alloy wheels, gloss black mirror caps, dark metallic front and rear bumper finshisher, black side sills, a dark chrome front grille, and black roof rails.

Four exterior colours will be available, including Diamond Black, Gun Metallic, Brilliant Silver and Ivory Pearl. Just 600 X-TRAIL N-SPORTs will be available.

If you need something bigger to fit the whole family the seven-seat Nissan Pathfinder ST-L two-wheel drive auto also has an N-SPORT variant. The ST-L N-SPORT will come with with black painted 20-inch alloys, black mirror caps and black front grille, as well as black front and rear lower grille accents and roof rails. Just 250 Pathfinder N-SPORTs will be available.

Nissan Australia managing director, Stephen Lester, said:

“The Nissan N-SPORT series has been popular with buyers in the past, so we have listened to a market that wants more, and offered N-SPORT editions on a wider range of Nissan nameplates.

“Black highlights certainly add to the exterior styling of a vehicle and make them stand out. The Navara N-SPORT was a strong seller, we think the N-SPORT treatment on 370Z, Pathfinder and X-TRAIL will also be popular.”
